Criteria for selection include -

1. Authority (note domain, i.e., .org, .edu, .gov) and does the site list an author or editor? Is it possible to contact the author or editor with questions?
2. Reliability - does the author list sources? Does the author include linked items such as images and primary sources and idicate sources for these?
3. General Applicability - for which of your topics does this source work best? Does it cover an era, a people, or an individual?
