Encyclopaedia Britannica - includes the traditional encyclopedia, Compton's by Britannica, and Britannica Elementary. Enciclopedia Universal en Espanol - Britannica's Spanish language encyclopedia.
Global Reference Center - Spanish, French, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean language encyclopedias from Britannica.

Student Resource Center Gold - reference source on people, places, and events in history. Includes periodical articles and web links.

Webster's New International Dictionary

World Book Encyclopedia - general interest encyclopedia Includes Enciclopedia Estudiantil, a simple Spanish language encyclopedia.

JSTOR - Academic journal articles

Issues and Controversies - Explores today’s controversial issues in depth. Includes timelines, primary source documents, statistical tables,  editorial cartoons, newspaper editorials and interviews with experts.

Opposing Viewpoints - articles from many sources exploring all sides of controversial issues.

Proquest -  Access both ProQuest Platinum (current magazine and newspaper articles) and Proquest Historical Newspapers (articles from 1851 through 2001).   Includes some peer reviewed journals.
